Global production is about 40 thousand tons out of 8 million tons of other date varieties. The healthy benefits of Medjool made it a favorite dessert for those who are practicing diet. It contains ten minerals, six vitamins B, antioxidants, and dietary fiber. It helps maintain the digestive system, blood vessels, and heart (lowers bad cholesterol), helps prevent high blood pressure and maintains bones by calcium and magnesium.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Date Palm, ancient and authentic<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Palm began its natural journey, scientists say, 80 million years ago (the Cretaceous), and was able to adapt to the difficult desert weather.
